{laurie + fernando | wedding}

On April 25th the sweet couple Laurie and Fernando were married, YAY! L+F had their ceremony at Pickwick Gardens in Burbank and the reception was held at D'Cache Restaurant in Tulca Lake. Laurie got ready at Hotel Amarano in Burbank with her girls. With such a modern and contemporary feel, Hotel Amarano is one of my favorite hotels to get ready at in Burbank. Through out the years I have had the opportunity to make friends with some great people who work at Pickwick, so I always look forward to working there. Kristen, who’s wedding I will be photographing in July, was the coordinator at Pickwick for L+F. Honestly, all the girls and Staff there are amazing. I love working with you gals and always look forward to seeing you!

Laurie looked amazing and her hair and make-up were stunning. As it should be since she is a make-up artist, lol. However, she didn’t completely do her own hair, she had some help from her friend, Lindsay Yamashita. Laurie was so wonderful and relaxed all day and up for as many photos as possible. We all know how happy and excited I get when people are up for photo after photo, lol. Needless to say, we got some amazing photos of Laurie and I had a wonderful time getting to know her girls. Between Laurie and her sister, and the comments they kept making, they sure did keep me on my toes and laughing all day long!

Laurie’s flowers, Flowers by Dan, were so unique and charming just like Laurie. She was so excited when she saw Dan bring them in, they were just what she had envisioned. I love the addition of the feathers in the bouquets and floral arrangements. I even had a little fun using them as props, lol. The flower arrangements and decor added such a sweet touch to the ceremony and wedding reception.

As Laurie walked down the isle with her mom, you could see the light flare up in Fernando and Laurie’s face and feel the love radiate from all around. L+F are a wonderful couple full of love and lots of laughter, and you can see that in the images. I really enjoyed spending time with L+F and thanks for making us a part of your special day. Your wedding was amazing and wonderful, just as you both are.
