{communion by joy sangalang | portrait | jewelry lookbook}

I am thrilled to share part one of my first lookbook shoot with you! I had the pleasure of working with jewelry designer, Communion by Joy Sangalang along side with stylist, Jen of Nunnbetter Design, hair by Jane of the Kutting Room and make-up by Rosemary Müller. I had such a blast and the entire team was amazing and so much fun! I love these unique pieces of jewelry handcrafted by the designer, Joy! The pieces are beautiful with a little bit of a rough edge while others are very soft and romantic! It was a pleasure to work with you and thank you for the wonderful opportunity of shooting your stunning pieces of art.

Check back next week to view Morgan Patricia Designs!

{style shoot | diy | film + lace + camera inspiration}

This is my favorite inspiration shoot ever! It has the style, look and feel of Aldo and I written all over it. That could be because it was inspired by our holiday shoot last year, lol. As we were shooting, Aldo looked at me and said this is so us, I teasing said ok lets do it, Gianna can officiate, lol. Needless to say we didn't get married, but when we do this is what it will look like. I love the brick loft look and of course the lace, film and vintage cameras. Gianna of Chic Celebrations did an outstanding job in pulling everything together and making it all so unbelievably fantastic. Such an amazing team that came together for this shoot. I love all the vendors involved and am so thrilled to have had a chance to work with all of them.  I love it so much, we have been inspired to decorate our home and office to reflect this shoot. Thanks to an amazing team that made our inspired dream shoot come to life! And, a big thank you to Amanda of Ruffled for requesting a wedding inspired shoot based on our inspired e-session. See our feature on Ruffled.

{roxie | portrait | romantic and rock n' roll | los angeles}

Love this impromptu session with the lovely Roxie. When she reached out to me and said she wanted to do two looks “Soft Roxie” and “Rock n’ Roll Roxie” I jumped all over it.  A little bit of the soft romantic look with the hard edgy urban look is right up my alley and true to my style. Both looks are not only Roxie’s true persona and style, but mine as well.  So this session hit true to my heart and soul, plus I adore Roxie. Major props go out to Beautified by Angela who did both looks for the session. She not only did an amazing job on Roxie’s hair and make-up, but changed from soft to rock in under 20 mins on location in the back seat (amazing talent)! Love a good stylist that can roll with the punches and challenges of the day! Rox thanks for sharing your two sides with us and showing the world we can have different styles inside of us and still be true! xoxo
